Rotating Ellipses is a pattern making study in mass customization.  A dynamic pattern was made using Grasshopper, which can then be frozen at any point to create a unique 2d pattern.  The print studies series explores the intersection between digital design and analogue making.  The dynamic digital pattern was frozen at different points, and then printed on fabric using laser cut stencils.
